However, at Oraczen, we’re questioning whether this low-code approach truly has long-term viability.

As large language models (LLMs) continue to evolve, their ability to handle detailed requests, reason, and generate complex outputs—including sophisticated code—has reached unprecedented levels. At Oraczen, we are exploring whether the low-code approach might soon rendered unnecessary by more directly leveraging LLMs, which could offer better efficiency and scalability and move us closer to our vision of building our Zen Platform with Super Engineers.

Here’s our vision for how the Agent Development Process can evolve as we move ahead,

Leveraging LLMs for Code Generation: With the requirements in hand, the next step is to provide a well-defined, structured request to an LLM. The LLM, equipped with powerful reasoning abilities, generates code in the desired framework to meet the specified needs.

Developer-Enhanced Output: Developers enhance the process by contributing additional context—such as relevant code snippets or optimizations—that the agent might require for the particular task.

Code Scaffolding: The LLM delivers code that is nearly ready, organized as agent graphs, nodes, or flows, depending on the chosen framework. Developers can then fine-tune and refine the output to ensure its readiness for production.

Review and Deployment: Finally, the developers review the scaffolded code, make any final adjustments, and deploy the agent. Over time, as more agents are built and tested, the process becomes faster and more automated.

The Future: Towards Fully Automated AI Agent Development

As this approach matures, several exciting possibilities open up:

End-User Development: Enterprise users might be able to generate agents independently, with minimal developer oversight.

Agent-Generated Agents: Agents themselves could create simpler, task-specific agents—an early step toward recursive automation in agent development.
